  1. It would fit better on your face if you had been shaved before. And I will recommend you put on the mask and jump in a pool. We all know anything can happen. ERTcowboy

  2. He was shaved but it also seemed to work on you for the suction test, can you tell us how well this works with facial hair? Sometimes I shave, sometimes not and I’ve held off on gas masks because most are useless if you don’t happen to be clean shaven right when you need it.

    1. I didn’t want to take any chances but it seems like it would have been ok with facial hair because it sealed behind my beard line if that makes sense.

  3. I was taught to turn the straps inside out so they are over the face of the mask. That way you can just slap the mask onto your face directly and pull the straps over your head in one motion. I don’t remember the exact time but we used to be required to get the mask out of the carrier and have it suction tested in just a few seconds.

    1. Worked fine with mine! BUT. MIRA is working on an adapter for glasses. I would however wear contacts if you can. Otherwise it may not seal properly. Much like beard interference.
