  1. On the 75, w/ the hammer down, the thumb safety can’t be engaged.  That’s good.  All the copies I’ve played w/, you can engage the thumb safety w/ the hammer down.  How ’bout on the Sphinx?

  2. umiliating Sunday
Today should have been the day to go to the gun club but instead, as the prefecture in Rennes had taken my guns off me because I scratched a car in a car park it was just a drive out followed by meeting my friend in the next village to watch his son’s school parade. We about 100 meters away watching them all form up behind the marching band when everyone started to run. In light of what has been happening in France recently, we all thought terrorist attack.
My friend grabbed an iron bar while I rant to my car to grab a rifle.
On reaching my car I remember I had nothing to try to protect the children with.
Yes I know a bolt action gun is no match for semi-auto gun but I would have been a threat to be taken care of before the children.
I am not brave and would never have thought I would consider doing this but it is strange how you react.
Fortunately, it was only a drunk.
I hope it never happens but if one child dies because of a prefecture taking away a gun license for a trivial matter were that person could have made a difference then that is politics
    Regards
    Andy
