How To Repair a Rear View Mirror on a 1988 Ford Bronco- Bug Out Vehicle Set up

This is the slightly more rambling Director’s Cut version of the “how to repair a rear view mirror” video. My rear-view mirror fell off the windshield in my 1988 Ford Bronco” so I bought a Permatex Rearview Mirror Adhesive kit and fixed it. It was really easy and it’s good to have the Bug Out Bronco on the road again.

  1. Brian, disappointing video. Had to watch twice, not to see you moon me but verify that there weren’t mosquitoes attacking you and the missing skunk. Nothing. Beautiful Bronco though.

  2. $900 later? Sounds like a bargain to me. Seems my mechanic starts at that price and goes up from there. LOL. Truth is he actually is pretty fair. It’s just that my pickup is 20 years old and needs a little TLC now and again. Still better than a monthly payment on a $45,000 dollar replacement.

  3. I admit saying a little prayer helped me get over worrying the mirror might end up stuck on your forehead. So awful of me to think such a thing, but you got that puppy right where you needed it. Drive safe, keep safe, have a great weekend.

  4. LOANED OUT MY 89 BRONCO A COUPLE OF YEARS A GO TO A NEIGHBOR TO PULL A HEAVY TRAILER.WHEN I GOT IT BACK THE MIRROR WAS LAYING ON THE FLOOR .TRIED TO GLUE IT BACK ON DID NOT WORK. I DID NOT KNOW THE CLIP CAME OUT,I AM GOING TO TRY AGAIN TO DAY.THANK YOU
