A motion-sensor headlamp is a cool product to have, especially if you’re in a situation where you need or want to keep your gloves on at all times. The Olight H16 seems to be a solid light, giving you 500 lumens of output. The win of this one is definitely the motion-sensor feature – check it out!

  1. It seems like the button is large enough to access with gloves on. What i would like to see from the motion activation is the head lamp double as a portable motion security light.

  2. Wave feature is nice but when the light is off the blue light stays on. If I want the ljght off and need to wave it off then I still bave tl take off the gloves. Blue light not necessary really. IMHO…

  3. They have a nice feature with the wave and a good price point BUT… 1) I don’t want a light to come on High unless it’s a tactical light. Camping/working lights need to start low and go up. 2) I won’t buy a light that I can’t swap the battery. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve found a light dead because it got bumped on or left on and needed to swap immediately. 3) it would be nice to be able to make just the flood come on in the lower settings for up close work. Don’t need a spot when working at arms length. THANKS TIM!
