  1. It is known that due to the long thin profile barrels on these guns they heat up during strings of fire they can not shed the heat quickly enough and lead to vertical stringing.
    I bet if you slowed the rate of fire and allowed it to cool you would get more consistent results.
    I’m down on Fort Benning and own a converted SVD Tiger if you want to go shot for shot 🤔

  2. I have one of these riles too, and my experience is the same with this. The more he shoots, the hotter that thin barrel gets and the start opening up. Also, that russian surplus ammo hes using is horrible. Good ammo in 150gr range (which the rifle is designed for) is hard to find. 7.62x54r uses a .311 diameter bullet which makes bullet choices narrow for hand loading.
