Wandering Raven Survival Kit: Budget, Basic Kit for Training & Hiking, Hunting, Backpacking

I’m always interested in checking out new survival kits, so when Wandering Raven contacted me, I was intrigued by this budget-friendly kit. It has the basics that will keep you alive if you have a decent skill set in the woods. I would swap out a couple items for other pieces of gear, but to be honest I haven’t gotten a survival kit yet that I wouldn’t make some adaptations to. Check it out!

  1. Kudos thanks for the realistic compass test. I haven’t seen other cites FB/YT
triple check compass on correct directions. Hence, thanks!

  2. Definitely think you can build yourself a better kit it’s not bad if somebody’s on a tight budget but you can pick up a Walmart knife for 4 bucks that will outperform that little knife especially if you just need basic cutting tasks you can pick up a decent fixed blade for not very much either just for emergency there’s a lot actually that can be bought cheaper

  3. Not a bad starter kit for someone getting started with setting themselves up. At least they will have something to start with instead of just still researching things only, then they can continue to add to their overall system.
    Cheers.
